The plan has been to replace the 2006 Kia Amanti with a 2011-13 Jaguar XJL Supersport. I have my XJ Fund going and the prices are already between $32,000 and $45,000 for that variant. Here’s hoping 2020 gives me my vision. After the XJL SS, I can go for a Maserati Granturismo and be on my way! Are there any cars that you’re actively aspiring to own, Oppo?

No. There are cars that I would LOVE to own, but at the same time really don’t want to trust myself with. Syclone being one. I fully intend to drive one, I would maybe own one someday as a second vehicle. But as of right now it would be my only vehicle and I don’t want to do that.
That said the value is only going to go up... maybe I should get one now...

That’s a great dream Jag, although I can’t endorse the Maserati.

I’m banking on the new one that’s supposed to be out next year being phenomenal. Since that will be out in 2017, I can plan buying that same model year in 2026. The current one is awesome but I know the next one will be that once in a lifetime golden child of all Maserati models.

I’m aspiring to get my Trans Am on the road someday. Other than that I’d love to just have something newer with low miles that I don’t have to pay for or fix all the time, so I can focus on the TA.

It’s funny, I’ve looked at XJ Jaguars and they all have hideous colors for interiors. People must be high when they order these things.

My dream Jag is a far less lofty aspiration - all I want is a clean X308 XJR. That’s been my kick for the past few days. Though I rarely focus on one want for more than a week...

I currently own a 2009 Volvo C70, the dream is either a new S90 or V90. Gorgeous cars.

Porsche Panamera 4 are currently hovering at $35-40k for 2011 models. I’d love for that to be the next family mobile for us to replace our wagon and e34. But, we are a long way from that. I’ll be curious to see if the new model rolling out dings their prices. The thing to settle for I guess would be an A7, which 2012s are more in the $25k range.

I am patiently awaiting the Jaguar f-type v8s rwd to reach my price level. Or my price level to reach the f-type.

As crazy as most people think I am, I am currently putting a little money aside when and where I can to import one of these little FIAT 126p fellas from Poland to Nova Scotia! :)
They’re cheap as chips over there, so I can prob find and import one here all-in for something like $6-7K CAD. At around $4K now, but even once I get the money I’ll need a full-time job, my own place, and a place to store it before I can buy one... :(

I’d be fine with a ZT :P
I approve of your choice sir!

Don’t do the GT. Just trust me on that. If you really want a modern Maserati, then the Ghibli SQ4 is where it’s at IMO.

I would love to have a Panamera e-hybrid S as a daily sooner or later. I got to use one as my company vehicle when I worked at a Porsche dealership and it was one of the best cars I drove. And I did both basic around town stuff and long cross-state road trips. I absolutely loved that thing and greatly miss it to this day.

And to answer your question, the short list is:
- Jaguar F-Type SVR coupe (Firesand Orange Metallic)
- Nissan Skyline R34 GTR (Midnight Purple Metallic II)
- Porsche 911 997 GT3 RS (Signal Green)
- Porsche 911 997 GT3 RS 4.0 (Carrera White)
And on the more attainable side:
- Volvo V70R (Flash Green with the Atacama interior)
— So maybe that color combo doesn’t really make it that attainable considering that there are estimated to be less than 20 of those in existence. So what? A man can dream right? :P
